Overview

Disco Dungeon is a turn-based puzzle-adventure mobile game that fuses rhythmic, audio-themed mechanics with non-linear storytelling.

Players navigate a multi-layered world where tile-matching strategy directly drives combat and progression.

As players unlock an evolving arsenal and piece together non-linear memory shards, they uncover a world built on deep systems design and immersive atmosphere.

My Role

As the lead artist and designer within a focused three-person team, I architect the game’s visual DNA and UX/UI framework from concept to production.

I drive the art direction and systems design, crafting the visual language, character assets, environments, and VFX that define the game’s aesthetic. Beyond the visual layer, I am responsible for the UX/UI architecture, ensuring the game’s complex mechanics—such as the rhythmic combat loops and non-linear narrative progression across 5 distinct worlds—remain intuitive and accessible on mobile.

My role is deeply technical: I utilize the Godot engine to integrate my artwork directly into the game’s logic. By handling the direct optimization and technical implementation of assets within the engine, I work closely with my team to bridge the gap between creative execution and functional performance, ensuring the game is optimized for scale and responsiveness.
